We're just days away from the end of the fiscal year and we need to raise $50,000 to balance our budget!

With your help we will make it and CLOSE THE GAP! For every two dollars you donate our board member, Karen Cooper and her husband Bruce Schneier will donate $1 - please help us earn this match and meet our goal.

We've raised $33,000 so far but have $17,000 left to raise to balance our budget by August 31st!

With just 19 days left until the end of the year we need to raise $895/day or $38/hr or .63 each minute between now and the end of August. Every minute counts and every dollar helps!

2007/2008 has been an exciting year for HOBT - we are in the first year of our 10-year strategic plan and are on track as we build toward the creation of a stable and sustainable organization.

Work initiated by HOBT's artistic director, Sandy Spieler, focusing on WATER is about to enter a new phase where the boundary between art and activism will truly meet and grow.

While at the same time we deepen and expand our connection to the local neighborhood by presenting bi-lingual performances, residencies and of course the annual MayDay Parade and Festival.

As we do this unusual work of crossing cultural boundaries and mixing disciplines many of our programs fall between the cracks of traditional funding sources. So it is to you, our audience and friends that we turn to and ask for your participation and investment.
